INDIANOLA

Inspired by the owner’s passion for modern architecture, art, and vibrant color—and drawing on the beauty of the adjacent sand, rock, water, and Northwest landscape—the Indianola House was transformed from a bland, 1990s-era box into a soulful home that doubles as an art gallery. Once a muted structure with a monotonous stucco exterior and pyramidal glass-block openings, this once overlooked house, perched on a secluded bay with water and island views northwest of Seattle
